Pride Before A Fall

I know gloating is dangerous, lest GT play Michigan to Samford's App State next week, but I couldn't help but post this: Notre Dame is dead last in rushing thanks to Jon Tenuta's defensive schemes and a host of stellar athletes. Yes, dead last. Behind even San Diego State and Tulane, who have yet to take the field this season. Georgia Tech's defense held Notre Dame to -9 rushing yards (according to the ESPN box score). Now, in fairness, a lot of the negative plays were QB sacks and not necessarily stuffing the run in the backfield, but still, 9 sacks says a lot. Of course, it's not all one-sided about how great the Jackets defense is, so let's also be sure to note how poor the Irish O-line is. Okay, I'm done gloating; here's hoping it doesn't come back to haunt me.
