Week 1 Top 30
I'm posting the top 30 this week rather than 25 because its week 1 and there will be a lot of changing going on over the next couple weeks before things start to settle out. Also because after 30 there's a bit of a dropoff in scores.

Well...we'll see how the rankings look after a couple of weeks. I think you have a system that won't make much sense until a few games are played and some of the "outliers" are negated.

Quite true. I think by Week 3 the aggregate effects should start to create a more stable pattern. No one in their right mind would claim Troy as a #4 team right now. But as far as I'm concerned, it's no more arbitrary than pre-season rankings, and probably less so since it's based on a reproducable formula. Who would have picked Tennessee to crush Cal based on their pre-season rankings? Everyone should have known Notre Dame was overrated at #2, but they wound up there anyway. I'm excited to see how this thing works out over the course of the season. I think based on my data from last year, certainly in December we should see a set of rankings that parallels what other polls have put forth.
