In case you were curious, the underdog (based on these rankings) team is 17-14 against their competition so far. Even more amazing is that teams ranked at least 10 spots below their competition are 10-7, and teams with a delta of 20 or more went 5-2 against their supposedly better foes. Also of note, teams ranked 65 or worse went 5-0 against their opponents, which averaged a rank of about 45. Thus ends my lame excuse for why my picks have been doing so poorly. Or alternatively, thus starts the investigation for why my rankings are not as accurate/predictive as they should be.
